I'm Still Processing It, 2022

‘I’m Still Processing It’ is an installation of 3D-printed ceramics and blown glass which I created for the RCA ‘22 degree show. The installation explores a fantasy of the inside of the body, celebrating the imagined colours and surfaces within us which generate consciousness. I made ceramic ‘organs’ and glass ‘membranes’ and placed them on surgical trolleys to set them in a medical context. The brain and gut are deeply linked and are both powerful organs within the body. They each take in the physical world in their own way and converting convert them into experience.
